🏒 About Wheely Good

Sydney's Lime
Logistics Partner.

Wheely Good is an authorised Lime Logistics Partner operating across the Sydney metro area. We manage a team of field workers who keep Lime's e-scooter and e-bike fleet running β€” charged, repositioned, deployed, and serviced.

πŸ›΄
What We Do

Lime operates thousands of e-scooters and e-bikes across Sydney. When batteries run low, bikes need repositioning, or vehicles need servicing β€” that's where our team comes in. We're the people on the ground making sure the fleet stays operational and riders can always find a charged, working bike.

πŸ’Ό
How You Work With Us

You work as an independent contractor, paid per task completed. There's no fixed roster β€” you choose your own hours and work the areas that suit you. The more tasks you complete, the more you earn. Simple.

🎯 The Objective

As many tasks,
in as little time
as possible.

You're paid per task β€” the more you do, the more you earn. Speed and efficiency are everything.

$100 Weekly Bonus β€” Available for Our Tools Workers

Hit more than 300 battery swaps in a single week and earn a $100 bonus on top of your normal pay. This bonus is available to workers operating with company-provided tools. Absolutely worth targeting once you know the area.

These are benchmarks after roughly a month on the job. It takes time to learn clusters, plan efficient routes, and optimise your process. Everyone starts slow β€” give it time and you'll get there.

03 β€” Reading the Map
πŸ—ΊοΈ Map Colours

Know Your Pins

Every task appears as a coloured pin on the map. Learn the five colours and you'll instantly know what work is nearby.

Green = Move
Blue = Battery Swap
Red = Retrieval
Orange = Deploy
Purple = Service
1
Open the Tasks tab
Tap Tasks at the top of the screen to see all available bikes on the map.
2
Look for clusters
Multiple pins close together = more tasks per trip. Clusters are where you make real money.
3
Check the details
Tap any pin to see battery %, last GPS update, last ride, and priority. Use this to decide if it's worth going.
4
Check last activity
If Last ride is over 1 week old, skip it. The bike has likely been moved or stolen.
πŸ’§Avoid bikes near water β€” they're often gone
πŸŒ‰Skip lone bikes under bridges unless there's a cluster
πŸ…ΏοΈAvoid bikes that appear to be in parking lots
πŸ†Golden rule: clusters = cash. Always prioritise areas with multiple bikes
04 β€” Starting a Task
πŸ“· Find It. Scan It. Done.

How to Start
Any Task

Found a good task? Follow these four steps every time to find the bike and get credited.

1
Check the last photo
Tap the bike pin, then tap Vehicle Actions β†’ Last Photo. Look for graffiti, stickers or damage to identify the bike before you arrive.
2
Reserve it
Tap Reserve to lock the task so nobody else grabs it while you're on your way.
3
Ring the bike
When you're close, tap Ring. The bike flashes and beeps β€” quiet from a distance, loud when you're right next to it.
4
Scan to collect
Tap Scan to Collect and scan the QR code on the handlebar. Can't scan? Enter the serial number printed underneath.
⚠️
Don't cancel reservations

The app limits cancellations per day. Too many and your ability to reserve gets suspended for 12 hours β€” half a shift gone.

βœ…Reserve bikes and drop spots in the same area β€” plan first, then collect
πŸ“Reserve drop spots before you start collecting β€” they fill up fast
❌Don't reserve bikes you can't realistically get to
05 β€” Task Types
πŸ“‹ The 5 Tasks

What You'll
Be Doing

Five task types, each with its own strategy. Here's how to do each one efficiently and maximise your hourly rate.

πŸ”€
Move

Your tools
$6

Move a bike from where it is to a designated drop spot. Do these in bulk with a van β€” one-by-one is rarely worth it.

🚐Collect a cluster, drop them all at one spot in a single trip β€” always work in bulk
πŸ“Reserve drop spots before collecting β€” popular ones near stations fill up fast
πŸ“ΈCheck Last Photo before heading out to ID the bike by its markings
⏱️Last activity over 1 week? Skip it β€” it's probably gone
πŸ’§Avoid bikes near water or under bridges unless it's a big cluster
πŸ”§Got a van? Buy a ramp β€” loading bikes is dramatically faster

Battery Swap

Your tools
$3.50

Swap a depleted battery with a fresh one. Highest volume task type β€” and 300+ swaps in a week earns a $100 bonus.

πŸ—ΊοΈTarget clusters of blue pins β€” 5–10 swaps on the same street is where the real money is
πŸ“Reserve drop spots in bulk at the start of your run β€” plan the route, then execute
πŸ””Ring the bike when nearby β€” it flashes and beeps so you spot it fast in busy areas
⏱️Skip bikes with no activity for over a week

Deploy

Pick up bikes from the Lime warehouse and deploy them to drop spots across the city. Easiest task β€” great for building volume.

😎Simplest task β€” warehouse pickup, drop at spots. No map hunting required.
πŸ“Reserve your drop spots before leaving the warehouse β€” check what's available first
πŸ”’Dropspots show capacity (e.g. "🚲 8"). Plan your load to fill multiple spots per run.
⭐Starred dropspots are high priority β€” favour these where you can

Retrieve

Your tools
$6

Collect bikes from the field and return them to the Lime warehouse. Best pay per task β€” but strategy matters since retrievals can be scattered.

πŸ’°Best pay rate β€” up to $6 with your own tools. Worth planning your day around when you can batch them.
πŸ”—Combine with deploys β€” grab retrievals on the way to/from the Lime warehouse. You're already making the trip.
πŸ—ΊοΈDon't drive 30 minutes for one $6 bike. Batch them or stick to ones on your existing route.
🏭All retrievals go back to the Lime warehouse β€” know the address and hours before your shift.

1-Hour Induction Required First

Service tasks are locked until you complete a 1-hour induction at the Lime warehouse. Coordinate with Lime directly β€” ask in the WhatsApp group to get it organised.

πŸ”—Double up β€” service tasks are quick minor fixes. Knock one out while collecting a nearby bike.
πŸ“Keep an eye on purple pins as you navigate β€” easy extra cash when you're already in the area.
πŸ“ˆOnce unlocked, service tasks stack nicely on top of your regular run and boost your hourly rate.
