🎯 The Objective

As many tasks,
in as little time
as possible.

Wheely Good is a Lime logistics partner. We keep Sydney's fleet charged, moved, and ready to ride. You're paid per task — the more you do, the more you earn.

These are benchmarks after roughly a month on the job. It takes time to learn clusters, plan efficient routes, and optimise your process. Everyone starts slow — give it time and you'll get there.

🗺️ Map Colours

Know Your Pins

Every task appears as a coloured pin on the map. Learn the six colours and you'll instantly know what work is nearby.

Green = Move
Blue = Battery Swap
Red = Retrieval
Orange = Deploy
Purple = Service
Pink = Tidy
1
Open the Tasks tab
Tap Tasks at the top of the screen to see all available bikes on the map.
2
Look for clusters
Multiple pins close together = more tasks per trip. Clusters are where you make real money.
3
Check the details
Tap any pin to see battery %, last GPS update, last ride, and priority. Use this to decide if it's worth going.
4
Check last activity
If Last ride is over 1 week old, skip it. The bike has likely been moved or stolen.
💧Avoid bikes near water — they're often gone
🌉Skip lone bikes under bridges unless there's a cluster
🅿️Avoid bikes that appear to be in parking lots
🏆Golden rule: clusters = cash. Always prioritise areas with multiple bikes
04 — Starting a Task
📷 Find It. Scan It. Done.

How to Start
Any Task

Found a good task? Follow these four steps every time to find the bike and get credited.

1
Check the last photo
Tap … Veh → Last Photo. Look for graffiti, stickers or damage to identify the bike before you arrive.
2
Reserve it
Tap Reserve to lock the task so nobody else grabs it while you're on your way.
3
Ring the bike
When you're close, tap Ring. The bike flashes and beeps — quiet from a distance, loud when you're right next to it.
4
Scan to collect
Tap Scan to Collect and scan the QR code on the handlebar. Can't scan? Enter the serial number printed underneath.
⚠️
Don't cancel reservations

The app limits cancellations per day. Too many and your ability to reserve gets suspended for 12 hours — half a shift gone.

Reserve bikes and drop spots in the same area — plan first, then collect
📍Reserve drop spots before you start collecting — they fill up fast
Don't reserve bikes you can't realistically get to
05 — Task Types
📋 The 6 Tasks

What You'll
Be Doing

Six task types, each with its own strategy. Here's how to do each one efficiently and maximise your hourly rate.

🔀
Move
Green pin on map

Move a bike from where it is to a designated drop spot. Do these in bulk with a van — one-by-one is rarely worth it.

🚐Collect a cluster, drop them all at one spot in a single trip — always work in bulk
📍Reserve drop spots before collecting — popular ones near stations fill up fast
📸Check Last Photo before heading out to ID the bike by its markings
⏱️Last activity over 1 week? Skip it — it's probably gone
💧Avoid bikes near water or under bridges unless it's a big cluster
🔧Got a van? Buy a ramp — loading bikes is dramatically faster
Battery Swap
Blue pin on map

Swap a depleted battery with a fresh one. Highest volume task type — learn a few clusters and the swaps stack up fast.

🗺️Target clusters of blue pins — 5–10 swaps on the same street is where the real money is
📍Reserve drop spots in bulk at the start of your run — plan the route, then execute
🔔Ring the bike when nearby — it flashes and beeps so you spot it fast in busy areas
⏱️Skip bikes with no activity for over a week
📦
Deploy
Orange pin on map

Pick up bikes from the Lime warehouse and deploy them to drop spots across the city. Easiest task — great for building volume.

😎Simplest task — warehouse pickup, drop at spots. No map hunting required.
📍Reserve your drop spots before leaving the warehouse — check what's available first
🔢Dropspots show capacity (e.g. "🚲 8"). Plan your load to fill multiple spots per run.
Starred dropspots are high priority — favour these where you can
🏭
Retrieve
Red pin on map

Collect bikes from the field and return them to the Lime warehouse. Best-paying task type — but strategy matters since retrievals can be scattered.

💰Best-paying task type. Worth planning your day around when you can batch them.
🔗Combine with deploys — grab retrievals on the way to/from the Lime warehouse. You're already making the trip.
🗺️Don't drive 30 minutes for one scattered bike. Batch them or stick to ones on your existing route.
🏭All retrievals go back to the Lime warehouse — know the address and hours before your shift.
🔧
Service
Purple pin on map
🎓
1-Hour Induction Required First

Service tasks are locked until you complete a 1-hour induction at the Lime warehouse. Coordinate with Lime directly — ask in the WhatsApp group to get it organised.

🔗Double up — service tasks are quick minor fixes. Knock one out while collecting a nearby bike.
📍Keep an eye on purple pins as you navigate — easy extra cash when you're already in the area.
📈Once unlocked, service tasks stack nicely on top of your regular run and boost your hourly rate.
🧹
Tidy
Pink pin on map

Straighten up the bikes at a parking pin so the whole spot is neat and properly parked. You're paid per pin, not per bike — a pin with 10+ bikes pays the same as one with two, so the quick ones are the good ones.

🧭Look for the pink pins with a broom icon. Turn on the Tidy filter in the app to see them all.
🧹Tap the pin, then Start tidying — or Already tidy if the spot is already neat. Either way you'll enter how many bikes and scooters are there before you take photos.
📐Point every vehicle the same direction, front wheels facing the street, with 10–15cm between each so riders can grab them and they don't topple.
🚷Never block footpaths, tactile paving, doorways, ramps or any public access point. Clear access always comes first.
📷Before photo first, After photo once you're done. Well lit, every vehicle in frame, and show the pin boundary so the placement is clear.
⚠️Penalties apply if the task isn't up to standard — the extra minute to line them up properly is worth it.
⏱️Tasks expire the moment the next time window opens, and can drop off if a rider moves a bike. Grab them while they're live.

🕒 The five tidy windows

Tasks are generated in five windows a day. Anything not done expires when the next window opens and a fresh batch drops.
